FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Crime Stoppers?

CRIME STOPPERS is a program to assist law enforcement in the fight against crime. It is simple: See something report something! Crime Stoppers provides a safe way to report—and you never have to give your name. We are not the police! Crime Stoppers provides a telephone number and web tips to encourage residents to safely and anonymously report criminals and their activities. The Crime Stoppers Coordinator and the Crime Prevention Network Board of Directors determine the amount of awards and ensures payment to those who provide information, and are responsible for raising money to continue their respective programs.

The Tulsa Crime Stoppers tip line is a vital resource in helping reduce crime in our community. With its triangle of cooperation between the citizens, the media and law enforcement, the goal of Crime Stoppers is to make the Tulsa area a safer place to live, work and play for all residents.

“We don’t want your NAME just your TIP!”
