On October 1st, 2017 in the early morning hours a burglary from vehicle was committed at a residence in the area of 1700 S Newport Ave. Officers were dispatched to the residence after the victim noticed the doors to his vehicle were ajar. The victim reported various items missing from inside his vehicle.
Detectives were able to locate surveillance video from an area business of a person of interest that was using the victim’s stolen credit card. He is described as a white male, early 20’s, brown hair, wearing a blue t-shirt, grey hat, and jeans. He was last seen getting into the passenger side of a white single cab pickup truck.
